Dear Donors,
The Bumi Sehat Lombok clinic services continue to expand. Recently, Dr, Yuda SPOG (OBGYN) joined the Bumi Lombok clinic staff offering obstetric and gynological support to our patients in West Lombok. This means that pregnant mothers in Lombok can now get ultrasound scans and a consultation with an OBGYN on a by-donation basis, or for free if they can't afford a donation. Four of our Lombok midwives are still studying for their Masters in Midwifery, a recent government requirement. This will enhance their range of skills and means they are eligible to teach junior midwives in life-saving skills, such as infant resuscitation.
In 2025, Bumi Sehat Lombok delivered 18,755 instances of patient care, including 466 pre-natal checkups, 25 births, 25 neo-natal checkups, prenatal yoga classes, 4759 general medicine patients, 36 home medical visits, 115 transports by ambulance and much more.
