It's been another impactful year for Shivia thanks to the generous support of donors like you.
We have compiled a short video highlighting some of the year's milestones which you can watch on our YouTube channel here.
You will see that our poultry farming programme continues to help women in rural India earn money with dignity and pride.
Olly and I were delighted to meet some of our newest poultry farmers during a field visit in November. We travelled to some extremely remote communities in Chhattisgarh and Bihar where, earlier this year, we expanded the programme to include another 400 women. It was heartening to witness how our toolkits and training are enabling these women to turn chickens into cash so they can provide for their families. Everyone we met proudly showed us their home-made chicken coops and healthy looking birds and talked with confidence about their plans to build their small enterprise to become a sustainable source of income.
As the year draws to a close, we are looking forward to helping more women create sustainable livelihoods in 2025 with the support of all our generous donors.
