The reality of the project is going to address the climate changes, restoration of biodiversity, clean energy and environment by planting and growing tree seedlings. It will also assist to restore Gaja Cyclone Victim people's means of sustainable livelihood, increase their income levels significantly and enhance their financial literacy.
Gaja Cyclone caused widespread damaged on 16/11/2018 to millions of Trees in delta region of Tamil Nadu State. People have lost their means of livelihood. Climate changes, global warming and biodiversity are also severely affected in the delta region.
The problems of global warming, climate change, air pollution can be reduced through plantation of seedlings. In this project, 10000 trees (Coconut, papal, Tamarind, Mango, banyan, Fruit & flowering plants) will be cultivated and maintained regularly in different rural and urban areas of Nagapattinam District. There would be proper arrangement of water and fertilizer. People will be encouraged to adopt trees and take care of them as their children.
Plantation can be a strongest strategy among all other options to restore Gaja Cyclone victim people's sustainable livelihood and ensure environmental protection in the delta region. More greenery will be spread and rain will be better. It will also help to restore and ensure a cleaner and greener community which is eco-friendly and energy self -sufficient.
