The goal is to help homeless women entering the labor market through a process of accompaniment before, during and after. We implement a methodology designed by Multipolar which includes: Vocational guidance, Psychological therapy, Coaching, training and workshops to succeed in interviews, mediation with employers and support on productive entrepreneurship projects.
Currently of the 7,251 homeless people registered in 2019, 80 % are men, 19 % women, and 1%, trans." Of this population, 871 are children and 40 are pregnant women. This project wants to help these women to connect with their potential, prepare them to get back into employment and be able to provide a future off the street to these children.
To complex problems, comprehensive solutions are the only answer. We propose a project that promotes economic empowerment for women by providing tailored interventions with an emphasis on their mental and physical health, autonomy, vocational goals and self-determination. Our project also offers work intermediation services so that they can gain economic independence. When a woman succeeds, this enables her children to succeed.
In the long-term, the experiences of the women who have gone through our process will continue with a steady income either on a job or an entrepreneurship project. They will become an inspiration for others in the same situation encouraging them that there is a way out of that extreme vulnerability.
