The Litokryl program provides psycho-emotional support for children and adolescents affected by the war. We create safe spaces for recovery and socialization, offering individual and group sessions, as well as creative and cultural activities. Over 17,631 children have already received help, and 8 spaces have been opened across Ukraine. Our goal is to stabilize emotional well-being, reduce anxiety, and support children's development during this difficult time.
With the outbreak of the war, a sense of danger has appeared in the lives of every Ukrainian child. Unfortunately, even parents sometimes do not know the answer to the question "How to support a child who has seen war?" Children need support from psychologists, communication with peers, and developmental activities that can improve their emotional state and mental health. The Rescue Now Foundation offers projects aimed at psycho-emotional support and resocialization of children.
Psycho-emotional recovery: group and individual counseling with certified psychologists, lectures, trainings, art therapy, neurogames, logorhythmics, and more. Creative & sports development: workshops (clay, felting, painting, animation, LEGO, mosaics), vocal training, karate, yoga, martial arts, fostering resilience through creativity and movement. Educational support: school prep, Ukrainian, reading, math, English, grammar, helping children overcome learning gaps, and regain confidence.
Children in safe spaces receive long-term emotional stabilization, reduced anxiety, and tools to manage stress. About 7000 children yearly regain a sense of safety, rebuild trust in adults, and strengthen social skills, preventing lasting trauma. Parents gain practical knowledge to support children at home, improving family resilience and contributing to healthier community recovery despite the war.
