Dear friends,

Hello from the Raising A Reader team. 2012 is in full swing, and we wanted to make sure to take a moment to say thank you for the investment you have made in Raising A Reader and the children across the country that you have helped through your generous support.

With your gift, Raising A Reader has identified some of the country's hardest to reach children. Over the next few months, we will continue to provide books, materials, parent training, and library connections through the Raising A Reader program to these at-risk children, the vast majority of which are living at or below the poverty line. Your gift is also allowing the Raising A Reader National Office team to serve the needs of specific high-risk families by providing specialized parent trainings and books tailored to teen parents, Native Alaskan and Native American communities, children with disabilities and their parents, and many others.

None of this would have been possible without your generous support. From all of us here at Raising A Reader, our sincerest thanks for everything you are doing to make a difference in the life of a child.

All the best,

The Raising A Reader Team
