The Language Development Centre - Nepal is supporting Tharu and Limbu language speaking communities to improve their socio-economic life in partnership with Limbu Language Development Association, Panchthar and Help Society Nepal.
Both our local partners are coordinating with local government and other agencies to implement the project activities effectively and generate local resources for the project and other activities. Our both partner organizations are selected to facilitate Local Governance and Community Development Program in Phidim and Tribhuwan Municipality Panchthar and Dang respectively.
Project staff is regularly observing activities in the both communities to continue livelihood activities and one-to-one coach to empower the community members, especially women in coordination with local stakeholders. Tharu and Limbu women are happy with their progress and anticipating more support to enhance their capacities through literacy and livelihood activities as well other families who are still out of coverage.
