This project will provide funds for the charities we support for the visually impaired. We support Leader Dogs for the Blind, Eversight Vision, Lions Bear Lake Camp, Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Project Kidsight, Seedlings (Braille Books for Children), as well as charities for the hearing impaired.
Lion and Lioness Clubs meet the needs of local communities and the world. With so many people and communities needing assistance, the Lions and Lioness Club volunteers work hard to provide for those asking for our help.
GlobalGiving will help our clubs maintain our fundraising goals for the year. This fundraiser will provide much-needed funds for the charities we support. 100% of our fundraising profits are released to the many charities we help each year.
Our club is in a transition period. We have many new members who are reluctant to organize new fundraisers, and our aging members are unable to do as much as they have in the past. A GlobalGiving online fundraiser will enable our newer members time to move into a more active position in fundraising for the club, allowing the Sterling Heights Lioness Club the monies to continue to support as many charities as we have throughout the years.
