Despite the challenges in in Juhudi children in crisis we have been able to support most orphans, single parent children and less fortunate in the community to access to both primary and secondary education. It is through these efforts that a good number of our beneficiaries have and want to proceed to either university or college. We expose youth to new opportunities to grow, learn and serve their communities that encourage them to see beyond their neighborhoods.
We have seen and increased number of those that want to proceed to the next level of learning. The communities we serve typically lack resources to see beyond their border and immediate needs. Making an impact and getting exposure can be more challenging if lack of opportunity, a struggling school system, transportation, funding, and everyday life choices appear to be insurmountable problems. Failure to continue to study and learn remains a key challenge.
Higher education level exposes majority of our beneficiaries to job opportunities in our country and the world at large. This could be a live changing opportunity to the communities where this young people come from The Youth Connection exposes hundreds of youth to careers by offering them opportunities for paid summer internships, community service, academic support, substance abuse prevention, and nutrition education. We provide necessary resources for conducive learning environment
Juhudi children believes in providing tools and resources that become part of the system of the families and children we serve. We open doors and provide services which will become a part of individual's identity and have these skills transfer to every aspect of that child's life. By encouraging substantial personal development we are able to provide access to opportunities while having the long-term effect of our families and children improving own lives that allows them to get out of poverty
