This exemplary achievement, a few non-profits have been fortunate to receive the SEAL-of-Approval, gives needful COMFORT to our passionate DONORS like you, that Your ‘hard-earned’ money is well-spent on the CAUSE close to your Heart.
We have closed the Child Learning Center for the current academic year on April 27, 2019. Out of our total Tiny-tots, 23 of them are graduating to Standard I (First standard), since they have crossed the nursery and KG classes in our play school. They have been granted admission in nearby schools, and we are happy to mention here that these marginalized children have been granted 50% concession in the annual fees because of our strong negotiations with the school management, and it would help the parents immensely in such a way that they would continue the education of their children.
Your timely donation in the recent past have helped us set-up this vital CLC; after the morning play-school hours, the same space is being utilized for community reach programs, by imparting sustainable livelihood skills, health and wellness programs etc. to the women folks from this marginalized community around our CLC.
As a part of our community enhancement and enrichment activity, in the noon session after the play school hours, we have started free Beauty Parlor course for about 40 young adolescent girls from these slum areas, some of them have given their Class X/XII examinations in Feb/Mar2019, and a few of them are from nearby tribal areas (they are known as Adivasis, the aborigines) with no schooling at all. For these kids and women, we are planning to start adult education with a special curriculum given by Rotary international under their TEACH program.
We have started basic tailoring course for mothers of our tiny-tots and other women from these marginalized community that will enable them to design and stitch nighties, petticoats, blouses, frocks for girls, etc. A few of them shall be absorbed in the nearby garment factory on full time or part-time basis.
A few donors have willingly come forward to donate shoes, water bottles, uniforms for the tiny tots in the next academic year starting June 2019.

Your generous donation would go a long way in providing all-round development of these tiny-tots through our early education in our Child Learning Centre.
We URGE YOU to contribute smaller amounts in recurring monthly donations & this would go a long way to meeting the ever increasing operating costs of our play school for our tiny tots from the rag-picking/daily laborer community.
