This project will provide autism youth with hands-on career training and workplace experiences at the Inclusion Factory in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, a social enterprise employing 50 individuals with intellectual disabilities. By building their confidence, enhancing vocational skills, and supporting their integration into society, this program will help 10 youth and their families overcome barriers to independence and inclusion.

Young individuals with autism face significant barriers to employment and social integration. According to statistics, the employment rate for autistic youth is less than 2%, highlighting the severe lack of opportunities available to this group. After leaving school or rehabilitation centers, they often lack the vocational training and practical work experience needed to enter the workforce. This project addresses the employment and social integration challenges faced by autistic youth by providing a 5-day career experience program at the Inclusion Factory, a social enterprise employing 50 individuals with intellectual disabilities.
