We are hosting a graduation celebration to honor the students who have participated in our skills programs the aim is to empower and celebrate the achievements of our beneficiaries. This event will mark a significant milestone in their journey toward self-sufficiency, empowerment and our contribution as an organization in the lives of the youth. By this graduation celebration, we intend to boost the graduates' confidence and celebrate them for taking the right step towards success.
Most of our beneficiaries come from disadvantaged backgrounds which hinders them contributing towards the graduation. Because of this challenge, expecting them to pay for graduation costs would exclude many deserving graduates from participating in an important milestone event. Fundraising is therefore essential to bridge this financial gap and ensure that all graduates, regardless of their socio-economic status, can be honored equally.
This graduation project will help solve the problem by formally recognizing and celebrating the achievements of disadvantaged youth who have successfully completed their computer and ceiling course at our organization. By doing so, it boosts the graduates' confidence, motivation, and sense of accomplishment, which are crucial for their personal and professional growth. Importantly, the celebration will be inclusive and accessible to all graduates, regardless of their financial background.
Our main purpose as an organization is to empower the youth, graduates, energized and recognized through the graduation celebration, are more likely to pursue further education, entrepreneurship, and community leadership roles. This will also foster stronger community bonds, as it mobilizes local support and partnerships, enhancing social cohesion and collaborative problem-solving.
