All of the solar Lights and Chargers have arrived in Sierra Leone but the Country is on school Holiday so they have not been distributed yet. The World Food Programme team is preparing for the new school year in year in September. They are currently signing the new Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Sierra Leone. They anticipate distribution to take place through October and November. After distribution, we will be able to share updates. The shipping delays were caused by global events that were outside of our control, but the Lights and Chargers will still significantly benefit the students and educators of Sierra Leone this upcoming school year.
