50,000+ Lives Changed

Since its inception in 2013, our Journey of Hope project has successfully been able to impact 50,813 lives as of June, 2017. Spreeha remains steadfast in its effort to address the needs and challenges our communities face, while promoting their empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.

A Story of Resilience

For your inspiration of the day, follow this story of Mim, a story of resilience. Stand by Spreeha as we continue to invest in girls like Mim, to support every girl's right to learn and lead.

Partnership with Dhaka University Cultural Society

Dhaka University Cultural Society partnered with Spreeha to spread joy as well as awareness on the importance of culture and education in the lives of students. We are grateful for the many educational materials received as gifts for our Journey of Hope project.

Global Handwashing Day

Spreeha celebrated Global Handwashing Day on the 15th of October. At the slum communities we serve, children frequently get sick due to unthinkable unsanitary conditions, playing at the city’s garbage dump site, which also happens to be their home. As hard as it is to contemplate, something as simple as handwashing with soap has the power to improve access to education for children, protect the health of patients and communities, as well as reduce inequities.
