Progga is here to shape our future leaders!

Progga, our leadership platform for adolescent girls, is designed with innovation and creativity. In partnership with various institutes, Progga reaches out to female adolescents training them to be effective decision makers.

Inspiration

When he is not busy representing his nation with his motivating words and endless energy, Bangladesh's Cricket Team Captain, Mashrafe Mortaza spends his time inspiring youth! He paid a visit to our students recently and they couldn’t have been more excited to meet such an amazing role model.

With his relentless energy, spirit and dedication towards representing the nation, he truly stands as a role model for youth everywhere. We are grateful for the moments he spent with our students, his biggest fans.

Thank you, Mashrafe for joining our journey to inspiring millions!

Breaking the taboo around periods!

On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Tashfiha Nusrat, Program Lead at Spreeha conducted a Menstrual Health Service Workshop session at International School Dhaka. The session conducted for students of the sixth grade called in for solutions to the various problems students face when on their period at the school.

Championing Change: Celebrating Leadership and Motherhood

On 13th May, 2017 Spreeha celebrated Mother's Day by bringing together inspirational women who are champions as mothers and leaders. The panelists engaged in a much needed dialogue of how mothers can also be great leaders in their chosen field of work and persevere.

Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka graced Spreeha's event, "Championing Change" as the chief guest with an inspirational speech. He spoke of how the principle of empathy at Spreeha is vital for community based programs and motivated our organisation to carry on the path to inspire millions.

We thank him for his support and promise to hold our principles in the forefront of our solutions!

Nobonita Chowdhury, Editor of DBC News and Anchor, 'Rajkahon- Nobonita Chowdhuryr shathe', our panel moderator, spoke about how it's important for mothers to support their daughters to excel in their chosen field of work.

Our guest of honor, Professor Mahfuza Khanam has been the pioneer of women empowerment since the birth of Bangladesh. Her fearless contribution to the country while being a mother has set bold examples and continues to be the source of inspiration for men and women everywhere.

Rafiath Rashid Mithila wears many hats, from actress, singer, to Head of Early Childhood Development and Girls' Education at BRAC International - her career is truly diverse. And most importantly, she is a mother who puts her child's needs first.

She spoke about how creating a routine for her child ensures stability and makes sure her daughter understands the importance of her mother's work. The importance of a supportive organisation for a woman is vital in this day and age, to facilitate women in leadership roles.

Rizwana Hasan, leading environmental attorney and Chief Executive, BELA, is an inspiring woman fearlessly challenging gender roles at work while being a hands-on mom at home.

Shwapna Bhowmick, Country Manager, Bangladesh and Mayanmar, Marks & Spencer is a leading woman in the world of RMG, which is still a prominent patriarchal sector. She spoke about how she creates a support system at her office to cater to her child and the importance of having a supportive life partner for a woman.

Champion all rounders for our future leaders to look up to!
