Elite Star Foundation's "Life Skills for 7,000 Children in Niger State" project addresses youth unemployment and food insecurity. By providing free skills training in food-related fields to 15-26 year olds, we empower young people to build sustainable livelihoods. Your support will help break the cycle of poverty, boost food production, and create a brighter future for Niger State's youth and communities.
In Niger State, youth unemployment is high, leaving many young people without prospects. This leads to poverty, food insecurity, and social instability. The lack of practical skills training exacerbates the problem, trapping youth in a cycle of poverty. Our project targets 7,000 vulnerable youth aged 15-26, equipping them with food-related skills to secure livelihoods, boost local food production, and create a more stable community.
Our project will provide free, comprehensive skills training in food-related fields to 7,000 youth. Participants will learn practical skills such as agriculture, food processing, and culinary arts. This training will empower them to start their own businesses or find employment in the food industry. By focusing on food security, we'll not only create job opportunities but also contribute to local food production, addressing both unemployment and food scarcity simultaneously.
This project will empower 7,000 youth with lifelong skills, reducing unemployment and boosting food security in Niger State. Graduates will become entrepreneurs or skilled workers, creating a ripple effect of economic growth. Increased local food production will lower food prices and improve nutrition for thousands. The project will foster a self-sustaining community, breaking the cycle of poverty for generations and potentially serving as a model for other regions in Nigeria
