I hope 2023 is treating you well so far. First I would love to thank you for choosing to walk with us on this journey. Since 2021 when we launched this campaign, you have been instrumental in helping us educate, train and mentor rural teenage girls in Kenya. Together we have offered scholarships to 14 rural girls in Kenya, and distributed over 36 sanitary packets to girls including basic school shopping that has enabled our girls to not only stay in school but also avoid teenage pregnancy that is mainly driven by a lack of these resources.
In this report, I would love to share with you our 2022 annual report. This report analyzes our activities in 2022 and how your finances and constant support helped us reach rural girls with the necessary support and tools they needed. Although Life Lifters Kenya is still in its Start-up phases, I am proud of the results we achieved in 2022. Our collaboration with girl sponsors, businesses, and global practitioners such as She’s the First and the Melton Foundation ensured that we reached girls with the necessary support and resources they needed to stay in school.
