This project will help vulnerable children with autism improve their quality life and social inclusion through comprehensive therapies in Tijuana, Mexico. By providing specialized treatments, we ensure that every child receives the care they need at the right time, as well as the necessary tools to achieve their maximum autonomy.
Autism affects communication, behavior, and interpersonal relationships. In Mexico, 1 in every 115 children lives with this condition, yet support is scarce. In Tijuana, the lack of specialized centers creates waiting lists, leaving vulnerable families without access to therapies. Without early intervention, children lose the opportunity to integrate themselves into school and their community.
The project will provide direct access to specialized therapies through personalized therapeutic intervention programs, timely diagnostic evaluations, speech, behavioral, and occupational therapies, as well as social skills training, family support, and parent training.
This project will provide therapies to children with autism, enabling them to develop the autonomy to become self-reliant. By strengthening their social skills, we will facilitate their inclusion in mainstream schools and open up future employment opportunities. Furthermore, we will support families through scholarships and training, thereby alleviating their financial stress and fostering a resilient environment that ensures their children's lifelong well-being and health.
