Thank you for your generosity and the donations you have given to support our Life Changer for Children Project.
Life Changer for Children envisions a community where every child lives in a safe environment, grows up healthy, and has access to quality education. Inspired by bayanihan, which refers to the Filipino tradition of community spirit of cooperation, unity and mutual assistance, the program brings together community members and partners like you, to ensure a peaceful, inclusive and progressive community.
As we approach the last quarter of the year, we have helped over 2,300 children in the communities of Sama Bajau and Marantao in Mindanao on their way to better health, nutrition and quality learning!
One of the interventions to support this is the establishment of multi purpose hall and community kitchens which shall serve as a hub not only for cooking nutritious food but to also share knowledge and skills on nutrition and food preparation. The community kitchen comes with set of kitchen utensils and materials.
We also work with schools to help teachers with their health and hygiene promotions. We have reached 1,325 children attended Hygiene-5 sessions which talked about proper handwashing and basic use of hygiene items for oral care.
Life Changer is an ongoing community sponsorship program that runs in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. As you choose to continue to donate and share this opportunity to help with your friends, family and co-workers, we can reach more children and families in need.
