Libyans are facing multiple crises including displacement, risks of famine, and disease outbreaks that have created the worst man-made humanitarian crisis. About 75 percent of the population needs humanitarian assistance, including urgent assistance to survive, with an increasing population at risk facing increased risks of famine and requiring an integrated response to avert a looming catastrophe.
With the generous donations of the donors, our teams on the ground were able to deliver food parcel assistance to the displaced families to reduce the food insecurity of the most vulnerable.
240 food parcels distributed (1 per household), with each feeding an average-sized household (approx. 6 individuals) for 1 month, totaling 1507 beneficiaries supported.
