This project will help us to buy stationery, tables, chairs and equipment to complete the center which was funded by global giving ford foundation. The organization was formulated for sensitizing 200 children and youth about drugs and alcohol, assisting out kids with schoolwork, teaching about spiritual principles and the defects of character, health education, the therapy of one child helping another.
We are based in a location where drug and alcohol abuse is high. our children are exposed to drug users and some of the children they see it as a way to survive. Our police officers are not working hard to stop people from selling drugs instead, it is now revealed that South African police are somehow involved in the drug world. As the organization we came up to a decision of helping the children and youth in our areas by teaching them about drugs and self care to prevent them from being victims
LTM provide education about drugs. we also cook nutrition meals and health care to starving children. Since we needed a center to run our programs and was assisted by ford global funding, We could not finish the project funded since the money was not enough. this project will solve the problem that we are facing by completion of the center for a safe space and have equipment's (tools) to run our programmes.
The project will motivate 200 children and youth to come attend their sessions on Saturdays and also to do their school work everyday after school. 200 Children will be sensitized about the the danger of drugs and alcohol. Many community members will benefit from Drugs and awareness that will be brought to the center since we also host awareness to the community
