Dear
Our respected donors
The ACT Foundation has been built the Water Well in Cangklek Hamlet, Gegerbitung Village, Gegerbitung District, Sukabumi Regency.
“The area is prone to drought. If there is a drought for a whole month, the Gegerbitung Village will be the most affected area. If so, the residents can only buy the water or wait for a free clean water tank since the river is far away,” said Resdiana Pratama from the ACT team.
The Water Well was constructed with 30 meters depth. Resdi hopes the Water Well can facilitate the residents to access clean water during the dry season. “Alhamdulillah, the flowing water is huge and abundant. Hopefully, it can cover the entire residents’ needs of clean water during the drought,” hoped Resdi.
the ACT Foundation also carried out an environmental conservation in Cangklek Village. It was carried out in the form of replanting 100 mahogany trees and 30 durian trees in the village.
The purpose of planting mahogany trees is to absorb water so that during the dry season the water will not recede and dry out too much. Meanwhile, the durian tree is planted to empower the local community.
Resdi hopes, in the future, the assistance from generous benefactors in the Water Well can continue to expand. “Especially in Sukabumi, hopefully, this Water Well can be implemented in other regions in need,” said Resdi.
Thank you so much for your generous donation and sincere help for Indonesian community.
