The past three months were extremely busy and exciting. We threw a large party for Hanukkah. Over one thousand children with cancer an CP and their families joined in the festivities. Celebrities from all over Israel came to meet the children and celebrate the holiday with them. Lior Narkis, a famous Israeli singer, had all the children dancing and jumping all night. click here for video https://vimeo.com/149701544 click here for articles 1. http://www.maariv.co.il/gossip/Article-517809 2. http://www.mako.co.il/entertainment-celebs/local-2015/Article-0314c034db4a151006.htm?sCh=3d385dd2dd5d4110&pId=769885919
Our annual trip to Orlando and Miami was a huge success. We flew twenty two children with their parent for a two week trip packed with fun. We visited Disney and Universal Studios, as well as Sea World and other amazing attractions. In Miami the fun continued. The children got to ride in exotic sports cars and watched a police dog show put on especially for them. click here for video https://vimeo.com/153200004 https://vimeo.com/153464078
We arranged a trip to Eilat as well. Thirty children and their families were treated to a relaxing four day vacation in a five star hotel. Daily activities included a trip to the dolfin reef and Eilat's famous underwater aquarium.
As part of our birthday wish program we threw a Bat Mitzvah BBQ party for one of the children. We invited 50 of her friends to join. They danced and sang with her all night.
We took the children on many outings to get them out of the hospital, including a trip up north for four children from the Rambam hospital. We took them horseback riding and to a restaurant for dinner. Our volunteers put together countless activities in the different hospitals all over Israel as a way to make the already hard days easier.
