In Lebanon, the ongoing conflicts have led to a significant rise in abandoned and neglected pets as families struggle to cope with the devastation. Many individuals can no longer care for their animals due to loss of income and resources, leaving pets to fend for themselves. This situation results in severe hunger, lack of medical care, and increased stray populations, which can pose health risks to the community. As part of our project, we provide food, veterinary care, and shelter.
Our project will achieve its goals by partnering with local shelters and veterinarians to provide essential resources, including food and medical care, to abandoned and neglected pets in Lebanon. We will organize community outreach programs to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, educating families on the importance of animal welfare and the consequences of abandonment. Additionally, we will host adoption drives to connect pets with loving homes, reducing the stray population.
