Thanks to the invaluable support of our donors, a series of educational and psychosocial initiatives have continued during this period, significantly contributing to the comprehensive development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas.
Workshops were offered regularly, focusing on three key areas:
• Formal Education: School learning was strengthened in subjects such as math, language, science, and socio-emotional skills. These spaces allowed participants to consolidate knowledge and improve academic performance.
• English: To expand their educational and employment opportunities, participants received English classes, which represents a fundamental tool for their future.
• Gender Equality: Topics such as equity, the prevention of gender-based violence, and the importance of respect and inclusion were addressed, promoting transformative attitudes among young people.
2. Psychosocial and Educational Support
At the same time, personalized support was provided through psychosocial support sessions and pedagogical follow-up. This strategy allowed for:
Monitoring academic progress.
Detecting factors that could jeopardize continued education.
Providing emotional and academic guidance to both participants and their families.
Results Achieved
Thanks to these comprehensive actions, the beneficiaries have achieved:
Improved their academic performance.
Increased their motivation and commitment to education.
Acquired tools to continue their academic and professional training over the long term.
Impact on the Community
In addition to the direct impact on the beneficiaries, the project has indirectly positively influenced approximately 305 people, primarily family members and community members. The gender equality workshops have promoted greater awareness and reflection on the rights of women and girls, generating changes in community dynamics.
We deeply appreciate your trust and support. These results are possible thanks to the collective commitment to ensuring more dignified, equitable environments with greater opportunities for those most in need.
