Giving Tuesday -time of the year

Dear Donor,

This year has seen the proper start of our project supporting vulnerable mothers and their children. We will soon be publishing some' action photo report' on our social and digital media, so please keep your eye on our facebook and instagram accounts. Did you know we are now also on LinkedIn?

In October we rented an office from Coimbra Centre, mainly to store and sort the donated items for the mothers and to conduct trainigns for our mamamentors. We are so exhited to have a physical location now, and will share some seasonal wishes from our new premises soon.

In order to ensure we are helping the most vulnerbale mothers in need, we have spent the past months meeting and discussing with other local partners who work with abused women, victims of sex trafficing and human trafficking, underage mothers and socially excluded mothers and as a result, we have signed 6 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with them - ensuring we have the best approach to holistically support the mothers. We are soon to be delivering our December item boxes for these mothers, including second hand clothing for the children, books, toys and ecological & biodigradable cleaning products to help the mothers to meet their family's needs for the winter and Christmas season.

We are now actively seeking for further funding to continue our project activities in 2022, and ideally expand our support from our 2021 target (30 mothers and their children) to 90-100 mothers and their children and to train 10-20 volunteer mama-mentors.

If you would like to continue your support, we are delighted to inform that this Giving Tuesday help us support the ones with the hardest job in the world: mothers! We need your help to keep this super important project going and reach as many mothers as possible.

Many mothers are struggling to support their children and families, particularly due to the increased need for them to stay home during the COVID19 pandemic, limiting income generating opportunities, as well as opportunities to receive physical and mental support. Next year we aim to reach 200 mothers in need and their families. But we can only do it with your help!
This November 30th, be the hope these mothers need!
Kind regards,
Romi's Way Team
