LEAP - oikos 10 month leadership program prepares each year 40 international students with the necessary competencies, qualities, practices, tools and global network to become conscious leaders in the co-creation of thriving and sustainable societies. Since 2015, 300 participants from 30 countries have been equipped with knowledge and capacity for conscious leadership on transformative change for sustainability; empowered and inspired to act as conscious leaders in their communities.
Global challenges cannot be resolved without a shift of paradigm & mindset. There is an urgent need to address leadership, to educate and prepare students to lead solutions for sustainability, focusing on the potential of inner transformation as a powerful leverage point systems change. LEAP plays a key role by introducing emerging leadership models and fostering personal development to overcome the dominant old thinking, being, doing and leading, nurturing resilient and empowered change-makers.
LEAP offers a transformative journey based on the The Inner Development Goals framework, which refers to the skills and qualities needed as a leader to build capacity to successfully work with our complex societal issues. Through its different elements as webinars with experts, hands-on workshops, 1:1 coaching, peer groups and onsite meetings, the program stimulates self-awareness, emotional intelligence, social skills, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and purposeful action.
We envision a future where thanks our program LEAP: More than 1000 students from relevant universities worldwide are empowered & resilient to work back with their communities towards transforming education. Youth education values and supports the development of soft skills and students' inner capacity, fostering learning on all levels of systems change and nurturing conscious leaders. Youth act from conscious leadership and are capable of moving society in a transition towards sustainability.
