Leadership & Impact Fund: Scaling Local Solutions

Hello Supporters, Friends and Action Changers!

Three months ago, we launched this project with a big vision: to give hundreds of amazing, determined people the chance to learn, lead, and change their futures.

To be completely transparent, fundraising has started slower than we hoped. We have raised $100 since the project began. But if there is one thing we know about our community, it’s that we never let momentum stop. We knew our community members couldn’t wait, so we challenged our leadership team, corporate partners, and personal networks to step up and wow, did they deliver!

10 Projects, 10 Mentors, Infinite Potential Over the past two months, our amazingly supportive network has come together to volunteer their time and expertise. We have officially launched 10 community projects, each paired with a dedicated mentor who is volunteering their time to help transform local communities.

One of those incredible pairs is our founder and Trina, the headteacher of our township pre-school. Together, they have already put together a strategic proposal to drive sustainable funding for her school and help keep 52 children safe on the township streets in South Africa.

Trina recently shared how much this has meant to her:

"I am so grateful for our sessions. I have learned so much and my confidence in leading our school has improved over the last 6 weeks. Looking forward to seeing what we will do next together!"

The Road to $6,000: We Need Your Help! While the volunteer energy is high, we cannot do everything on $100. We currently have a queue of brilliant community members lined up for scholarships and we need investment into this program to ensure we are able to run quality and impactful work too. We know that investing in these individuals and this program we really feel is special and different to anything else will create a massive ripple effect of positive change within their communities around the world. This could be the start of something special. 

To fund these scholarships and keep the momentum alive, our target is $6,000 over 3 months. Can we do it? We absolutely believe we can, but we need to join forces.
