Dear supporters,
We are getting in touch once again to share some great news: the kids' room in our shelter has been refurbished! You can see some before and after shots attached. Huge improvement, right?
We wanted to let you know that your donations were essential for this to happen, and the children living in the shelter right now are already enjoying this space. As you know, our shelter is not only a temporary place to stay but also a space where women and their children have the chance to rebuild their lives and start fresh after a traumatic experience.
As we continue to struggle with public funding cuts, every penny makes a difference and help us in our journey to provide holistic support for victims of domestic violence. This is our very first crowdfunding campaign, which opened a whole new opportunity for LAWA. We have been working closely with GlobalGiving since we became partners, and we are looking forward to creating new campaigns and engaging with our donors.
We would be grateful if you could share our campaign with your friends, family and work colleagues. We are close to our funding goal for this project, and as you can see from the photos, all donations go a long way.
