Barney Joe had a tumor on his leg that was growing pretty quickly. It was suspected to be mass cell cancer but the chances of removing it were in his favor. He had the surgery, the vet felt comfortable he was able to remove it all, and now Barney Joe is on his way to being cancer free!! He also has a skin condition that is rare, called pemphigus. He's been on medications for that and it is also clearing up. We are so thankful to our supporters for helping us save him!
Our bill was just over $1,000 for all of his treatment (lab work, pathology reports, blood work, medications, surgery) so we still need some help. This is also the time of the year we need hay for the comfort of the dogs during the winter season.
Your support has helped us save these dogs and we are very thankful to all of you! Wishing you have safe and happy holiday season. See you next year!
Sincerely,
Kim and the dogs of Las Lomas
