Hello Las Lomas supporters!
We are so happy to report, that with your generous donations, Baron had surgery to remove multiple mass cell tumors and it was a success! Baron is a Doberman who I witnessed being thrown from a car. We chased the guys down as Baron was running behind them. They denied it but it was obvious. Poor Baron was sitting at the window wanting to shake hands with the guy. They made a lot of excuses and I brought him home. He is an awesome dog and so loving and kind. He developed cancer and we didn't know what the outcome would be. Thanks to all of you, and an awesome vet, Baron had surgery. Dr. Bowman felt confident he caught it in time and was able to remove all or most of it. Baron went back for a follow up and there is no sign of the cancer! We are so happy to have been able to save this sweet dogs' life! He needs to follow up with the vet every 6 months but his future is looking brighter because of all of you!
We were also able to help BeBe & Little Man. They are a pair of doxies who were left behind when their Father passed away. They both had a bad case of ehrlichia and BeBe had anaplasmosis as well. Both of these are serious tick borne diseases. Their blood counts were through the roof and both had to be on medication. Little Man is out of the woods and BeBe is getting there, slowly but surely! These little senior dogs have never been outside, their owner worried snakes would get them, but are thriving with us!
On top of all this, we were able to keep all the dogs well fed and buy enough hay to get them through the Winter! Plus we hav some exciting new things to share with you soon! You have all been so generous! Donations the past few months have exceeded our expectations and we are so blessed and excited about the wonderful things we are doing together for the betterment of the animals! We have the most awesome supporters and you have all made such a huge difference in the lives of so many dogs. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! There aren't enough words to say how much we appreciate you!!
Many thanks, love and hugs,
Kim and all the dogs of Las Lomas
