Raising a boy in the digital landscape of the 21st century is one of the most complex challenges a mother can face. At LARAS MOTHERS, we believe that when you empower a mother, you secure the future of the boy-child. Our mission is to provide the education, support, and community necessary for mothers to navigate this journey with confidence, empathy, and wisdom.

This past quarter, we achieved a significant milestone in our educational curriculum. Because of your generous support, we have successfully equipped a new cohort of mothers with the tools to handle the delicate transition of their sons into young adulthood. Thank you for making this transformative work possible.

LARAS MOTHERS remains committed to an inclusive approach that leaves no one behind. Our project continues to focus on:

• Digital Literacy & Guidance: Helping mothers raise boys safely and effectively within 21st-century digital realities.

• Support for Mother-Absent Homes: Providing assistance to boys growing up without a maternal figure and raising vital funds for orphanages.

• Single Mother Empowerment: Offering a dedicated support system for single mothers navigating the unique challenges of raising boys.

• Nurturing Young Mothers: Guiding inexperienced mothers of boys through the foundational years of motherhood.

The hallmark achievement of this quarter was the completion of our Command Console for Mothers training series.

As boys enter their teenage years, the parental relationship must evolve to survive. Many conflicts arise because mothers attempt to remain in "Manager Mode" when the boy is seeking autonomy. Our training focused on the critical developmental shift:

From Manager to Consultant:

• The Manager Phase: During childhood, mothers manage schedules, behavior, and daily needs.

• The Consultant Phase: As boys reach their teens, the Command Console teaches mothers how to step back from direct control and move into an advisory role.

• The Impact: This shift fosters independence in the boy while maintaining a bond of trust and respect. Mothers learn how to offer wisdom and guidance ("Consulting") rather than orders ("Managing"), allowing the young man to develop his own decision-making skills in a safe environment.

Participating mothers reported a significant reduction in household tension and an improved "listening ear" from their teenage sons. By shifting their approach, these mothers have found that their influence actually increases when they stop trying to control and start trying to consult.

Your donations directly funded the development of this curriculum, the digital hosting for our virtual sessions, and the resources provided to our single-mother participants.

In the coming quarter, we plan to expand the reach of the Command Console to our rural communities and continue our fundraising drives for the orphanages under our care. Our goal is to ensure that the "Command Console" becomes a standard toolkit for every mother in the BMAN network.

This quarter, we successfully launched our new educational series, "Growing Boys: Unveiling Personalities." This program was designed specifically for moms of boys to move beyond generic parenting advice and into a deeper understanding of their individual child.

Throughout the sessions, participating mothers learned about:

• The Unique Personalities of Boys: Exploring the different temperaments and innate traits that make each boy unique.

• Different Archetypes of Boys: Understanding common developmental patterns and behavioral frameworks.

• Effective Behavioral Management and Strategies: Gaining practical tools and tailored strategies to guide their sons' behavior in a positive and constructive way.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with mothers expressing a newfound confidence and a deeper connection with their sons.

The "Growing Boys" series has proven to be an invaluable resource, and the need for this knowledge is immense. Our goal for the upcoming quarter is to continue this series, allowing more mothers to join and enabling current participants to build upon what they have learned.
