Signs and Smiles Workshops - A Great Success!
We are delighted to share that the Signs and Smiles Volunteer Training Team, Marie, Chris, Mary Grace, Jennifer, and Kenton, returned to EEESMA School for the Deaf during the week of August 18th to lead another outstanding series of workshops.
The Mission of Signs and Smiles, a US non-profit, is to ensure equal access to educational and vocational opportunities for deaf children and young deaf adults by providing access to sign language, literacy, numeracy, and real-life job skills so they can become contributing members of society and the Deaf community.
The week was filled with valuable professional development sessions, not only for EEESMA teachers, but also for deaf education professionals from across the states of Guanajuato and Querétaro. Their commitment to sharing knowledge and strengthening skills continues to make a lasting impact.
A heartfelt thank you Signs and Smiles for their generosity, passion, and dedication!
Thank you too, for your support, so that EEESMA teachers and teaching assistants are better equipped than ever to serve our students.
