We are thrilled to share the exciting news that EEESMA School for the Deaf has been recognized at the annual Non-Profit Organization Awards 2025, hosted by Acquisition International Global Media Ltd.
EEESMA School for the Deaf (Escuela de Educación Especial de San Miguel de Allende) has been awarded the title of:
“Best Hearing-Impaired Education Provider 2025 – Central Mexico”
A meaningful reflection of the school’s growing impact and dedication to Deaf education.
This recognition speaks to the heart of our mission: to provide quality, inclusive education and life skills to Deaf and hard-of-hearing children and youth in San Miguel de Allende and beyond. At EEESMA, students are empowered to communicate through Mexican Sign Language (LSM), pursue academic excellence, and build confidence in a supportive, bilingual environment. Many of our graduates have gone on to become teachers and teaching assistants at the school, artists, entrepreneurs, and inspiring mentors to younger students.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the many supporters and friends of EEESMA who took the time to submit nominations for this award. Your voices made a difference, and this honor belongs to you as well.
