By Sharon Doherty | Project Leader
Every second Friday and Saturday, parents of our students come to the school to learn how to communicate more effectively with their Deaf children.
In the past, many of these families faced a heartbreaking reality - parents and children unable to truly connect. Today, thanks to this initiative, those barriers are breaking down. Through language, understanding, and mutual respect, families are building stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
Thank you teachers Eliel, Laura, and Fernanda for leading the way!
Can you imagine, a mother unable to communicate meaningfully with their child who is Deaf? Please add your support to this very important project at EEESMA School for the Deaf.
