Happy New Year everyone! Just wanted to bring everyone up to date on the progress that is being made on our land purchase project. Although the amount raised might seem to be small at this point, the totals are about to change! We have been blessed with benefactors outside the Global Giving circle who have made a significant donation to the cause and we have benefactors in the Global Giving family who are willing to match funds! Ambergris Caye Elementary School could not be more thankful for those who are making our dreams a reality. Once we are able to purchase the land we will have the security of knowing we will never be asked to move our school again. We will then feel assured that as we grow and make improvements in our location it is an investment in the future of our school! This school exists only because of the people like yourself who are selfless and willing to invest and give toward the education of children they may not even know. Making a difference in a child's life is an investment in the future. Only through your acts of generosity can this be made possible. We thank everyone who has given so much so far. Our goal for the future is to purchase the land and move forward maintaining the sustainability of the school through continued support via recurring donations. By donating $25.00 per month you can help in this effort. With just 500 of these small monthly donations we could pay for 100 children to go to school.
