This project is to purchase a minimum of 20 acres of land, to build a Wildlife Education/Rehab facility that is open to the public to protect and save many different types of animals and environment. Eastern Exotics Wildlife Foundation Rescues all types of animals EXCEPT domestic cats and domestic dogs. Through this project we will be able to provide education programs to the public on wildlife and exotic animals that we have taken in, as well as provide on going care and food for them as well.
There is a current issue in our area of people obtaining Exotic Pets and Animals without the proper training to take care of them. In the end we are called in to take these animals out of unsafe conditions, or called to the scene because someone has released them into the area. We didn't realize how big of an issue this was until we started our Nonprofit Foundation.
By purchasing the required land in the area, we will be able to build an Open to the Public Wildlife Education Center and Rehab Facility. This will allow us to 1- Educate the public on Exotic Animals and Wildlife. 2- Provide a proper setting to take care of the abandoned and neglected animals that we take in (187 currently) 3- Take in and rehab local Wildlife that is injured of affected by natural disasters in order to re-release them back to the wild. 4- Change the World One Day At A Time.
By gaining this land and building this Center we will be able to change the world one day at a time. Through educational programs and awareness the children we touch with our programs will make the changes down the road. We can start a change but it's the children that will MAKE the Change happen.
