Children of Nepali migrant workers in Ladakh often face poverty, isolation, and limited opportunities for recreation and personal development. This project will send 50 vulnerable children to a life-changing summer camp where they will build confidence, develop friendships, discover their potential, and experience the joy of being children in a safe and supportive environment.
Children of Nepali migrant workers in Ladakh grow up in remote, high-altitude communities with limited access to recreational activities, personal development opportunities, and experiences that foster confidence and leadership. Many children rarely have the opportunity to explore, build new friendships, develop life skills, or simply enjoy the carefree experiences that are essential to a healthy childhood.
This project will send 50 children to a four-day summer camp in the mountains of Ladakh. Through outdoor adventures, team-building activities, sports, games, creative workshops, and mentorship, children will develop self-confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and meaningful friendships. The camp provides a safe and encouraging environment where children can discover their strengths, learn to work together, and create joyful memories that inspire hope and personal growth.
The summer camp experience will equip 50 children with greater confidence, stronger social connections, and important life skills that will benefit them for years to come.
