At YouMeWe, we work with children and young people growing up in institutional care, helping them develop the skills, confidence, opportunities, and support networks they need as they prepare for independent adulthood.
On October 3, we will hold our KIWL Run Challenge along the Arakawa River, with 2K, 5K and 10K in-person options as well as a virtual challenge. It is a wonderful opportunity for colleagues, friends, and families to participate together while supporting our work.
On October 14, we will host our annual YouMeWe Fun-Raiser Gala in Tokyo. This evening brings together friends, partners, supporters, and companies who share our belief that children growing up in care deserve the same opportunities, encouragement, and sense of belonging as any other child.

October 17, the
Tokyo Yamathon will also take place, with YouMeWe participating as one of the 2026 Community Impact Partners. The event brings teams together to walk the Yamanote Line and visit all 30 stations, making it a meaningful and enjoyable opportunity for corporate teams to take part together.

November, we will have the
KIWL 500:5000 Virtual Ride Challenge, where participants can ride anywhere, individually or as part of a group, while helping raise support for YouMeWe.

Sharing & Caring initiative. Through this program, we provide personalized gifts and essential items to children living in care so they can feel remembered, valued, and included during the holidays.
Companies can participate by organizing gift collections, sponsoring items, involving staff, or supporting the initiative directly.

America 250th Anniversary Collaboration with the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Ambassador, helping distribute emergency preparedness kits to children’s institutions across Japan.
