By Bob Maahe | Project Leader
It’s been long since we posted this project of helping us to raise funds, buy land and construct a vocational training center for the underprivileged youths in our area. We know the economy is rely not favoring most of our fundraisers, but still allow me to extend a couple of thanks to you for the continued support in all these projects that Uganda Youth Skills Training Organization (UYSTO) has posted here at Global giving, we salute you all our donors here at UYSTO.
According to the last census conducted, Uganda is the leading country in the world with the youngest population, this coupled with other challenges like unemployment, it has been looked at as a future problem to the whole nation, but at UYSTO we believe that through empowering these youths with technical vocational skills, a certain percentage of the independence can be attained, we regard this as quality education for 21st century specially in Uganda where the tracings of technical vocational education has been a neglect by both the Ugandan population and development stake holders.
Following the above background, we decided to present our project before you for helping to attain technical vocational skills training structures and thanks to you have rely contribute to us for achieving the project.
We are still currently training from provisions put into place and we thought would keep us taking off as we are fundraising.
Our beleoved donors, our hopes still in you.
