On November 17, 2023, we started a Christmas drive donation campaign aimed at gathering various items for the children at Tariro House of Hope in the high-density suburb of Epworth in Harare,Zimbabwe.We targeted our usual donors and also new donors through social media marketing and letters of request.We received an overwhelming response from the donors, and we managed to gather groceries, stationery, menstrual pads, shoes, and clothes.On December 22, 2023, we visited Tariro House of Hope with the donations, and we spent the day with the kids.We had various speeches from the Kind Hope Organization team with words of encouragement and motivation for the kids.
We had a very successful Christmas donation event, and the kids were happy. We are grateful to all the donors for their kind donations.We also thank all the volunteers and partners for taking time off their busy schedules to be part and parcel of the event.The participation of various individuals and organisations on the day opened a lot of opportunities for the kids, as they got to know a lot of things that may help them in the future.
