KIDS WIN (Keeping Inclusive Development Through Sport for Wellbeing, Inspiration and Nurturing) will engage 1,500 vulnerable children aged 3-12 in Northern Uganda in organized football, netball, and athletics competitions. Through safe sports leagues, age-appropriate sports kits, mentorship, leadership training, education support, and child protection services, children will build confidence, improve wellbeing, stay in school, develop life skills, and reduce their risk of abuse and exploitation.
In Northern Uganda, many vulnerable children aged 3-12 face poverty, school dropout, child labour, neglect, abuse, and limited access to safe places to play and learn. Without positive activities and support, children are at greater risk of exploitation, social exclusion, and poor educational outcomes. KIDS WIN will directly support 1,500 vulnerable children by providing sports kits, protective gear, mentorship, life-skills training, and safe sports leagues that promote wellbeing & protection.
KIDS WIN will help 1,500 vulnerable children by providing sports kits, protective gear, and safe football, netball, and athletics leagues. Children will receive mentorship, life-skills training, leadership development, education support, and child protection services. These activities will improve wellbeing, boost school attendance, build confidence, and reduce risks of abuse, neglect, and social exclusion.
KIDS WIN will create lasting opportunities for 1,500 vulnerable children to grow into healthy, confident, and resilient adults. Through sports, education support, leadership development, and child protection services, children will improve school attendance, life skills, and social inclusion. Community sports clubs, trained coaches, and locally generated revenue from tournaments and spectators will sustain activities, benefiting thousands more children in Northern Uganda for years to come.
