The Karen Fenton Ovarian Cancer Fund was established following the death of our eldest sibling Karen Fenton in April 2017. Since then we have been relatively successful given limited resources and time volunteered mainly just from Karen's family. We wish to really push on with our efforts to raise funds for a machine in a local hospital in Cork that would be one of a kind for Ireland not to mind the Cork region. This machine will help cancer diagnosis.
We would like to raise funds for a unique cancer diagnosis machine in honour of our late sister Karen Fenton who passed away only two months after her diagnosis in April 2017. We have been tirelessly fundraising since and wish to push on with our efforts for this key objective.
We will donate our current balance from our fundraising efforts ($50k) plus the $50k target from this Global Giving project to the local Cork University Hospital so that they can purchase the machine and help genetic based cancer machine.
