The recent rains in Kerala state have resulted in large scale damage. Almost everyone in Kerala had been effected one way or the other by the devastating floods caused by torrential rains. Torrential rains, overflowing rivers and a series of landslides have resulted in death of 79 people in the state and thousands of people lost their houses and belongings. Still 13 districts are on red alert. Learning Links Foundation is in the process of extending help in small ways to mitigate the sufferings
Due to the floods in Kerala, thousands of citizens lost their houses and belongings. Entire Kerala is under water with no electricity, communication system and transportation system.
This project will help the victims to get the milk, rice, vegetables, warm clothes, bed sheets, safe drinking water ...etc .
This project will support at least 50,000 flood victims to fight against the scenario created by the floods. In long term we will try to provide shelter by constructing shelter for the victims.
