Mass floods has damaged severely the state of Kerala. Torrential rains, overflowing rivers, dams and a series of landslides have resulted in death of 354+ people in the state and thousands of people lost their houses and belongings. Monsoon rains continue to batter many districts of Kerala. CHHASE extending humanitarian relief to the affected families.
Due to torrential rains, the over flowing of dams and rivers in Kerala, thousands of citizens lost their houses and belongings. The entire Kerala is under water with out electricity, communication system and transportation.
CHHASE will help the victims to some specific items like Drinking water, rice, pulses, spices, sugar, tea, rava, tarpaulins, blankets,dresses, solar lanterns, mosquito nets etc
CHHASE will support at least 20,000 flood victim families to fight against the damage created by the floods. In long term we will try to provide shelter by constructing shelters for the victims.
