In high school, I auditioned and worked on a short film. I kind of liked the experience. Everyone wants to be happy and I thought, hey filmmaking is what I want to do because it makes me happy.
Having a dream is a good thing but living your dream is something else. I need to make African stories as they are by making many films. I also think of starting my own production company in the future.
I came to the Hot Sun Foundation workshop to meet other filmmakers and get new ideas. During the workshop I learned that every story is worth telling. As a filmmaker I need to be creative enough to make it worth listening to and watching. Short filmmaking is kind of tough but with dedication you can make it.
If your ambition is to succeed in the dynamic field of film, television or online media, you want to work with passionate and creative people at the forefront of the industry and Hot Sun Foundation is the right place for that.
Hot Sun Foundation is creating a nice opportunity for young filmmakers who are not yet there and are ambitious but lack training and resources. Everyone's support is needed to make it possible.
Thank you Hot Sun Foundation for the support you giving to young people. The society needs to appreciate every single talent out there that hasn't been recognized. I am glad that this is happening with your support.
