I’m passionate about film and I was interested in gaining knowledge at Hot Sun Foundation.
I am curious about making short films since I haven’t heard much about it.
What did you learn from the Hot Sun Foundation training?
I was hoping I would learn more about the artistic side of short film making, which I did. I learned about the considerations that go into making a short film and the various platforms on which short films are screened. I also learned about short film festivals
Why is the work of Hot Sun Foundation important?
Firstly, I commend you on what you are doing, it is a noble thing.
What Hot Sun Foundation does is important because it helps with the growth of youth in the film industry and the overall improvement of standards. You offer opportunities to disadvantaged youth.
By having experts talk to aspiring film makers, we are able to gain more insight on the art and are thus better placed to improve the quality of our output.
