Greetings from Shamas Rugby Foundation, we are grateful for your generous support for our young girls. During this period, we have continued with our regular programs; Rugby, group therapy sessions and counseling.
Through our rugby program we have engaged more girls every week in primary and secondary schools. Our beneficiaries have taken part in rugby tournaments, both invitationals and inhouse matches. These interactions with children from diverse backgrounds gives them a diverse experience of life beyond what they are used to.
We have also provided our teenage girls with sanitary towels and proper training kits to increase their confort so as to retain them in our programs. We have hosted mentoship session for teenagers, where some of the girls in our programs have shared their stories to inspire their peers .
Through such engagements, we continue to provide to children, especially young girls, with an opportunity to express themselves, a safe space to discover themselves and skills that will help them make better and informed decisions about their lives.
We invite you to keep supporting Keep Girls in Rugby Campaign so that we can meet the growing needs for our girls.
