At Cedar Village, we are proud to have celebrated the 2nd anniversary of our Shalom Center for Elder Abuse Prevention. Since the creation of the Shalom Center, we have served many individuals who have been victims of financial, emotional or physical abuse. We provide shelter for individuals, aged 65 and over, within the walls of the existing long-term facility at Cedar Village and offer a safe haven for them including a full range of health care and supportive services and a coordinated system of care. Our goal is to raise awareness, educate our community, encourage early intervention and provide a safety net for vulnerable older adults.
