Many indigenous girls in rural Peru face financial barriers that make it difficult to remain in school and complete their education. The cost of school supplies, uniforms, and other essential learning materials often exceeds what many families can afford, increasing the risk that girls will interrupt their education and limiting future opportunities for themselves and their communities.
The project will reduce financial barriers by providing essential educational support, including school supplies, uniforms, and other learning necessities for indigenous girls in rural Peru. Working closely with families and local communities, the project will help students continue attending school, participate fully in learning, and remain engaged throughout the academic year.
By helping indigenous girls remain in school, this project will expand educational opportunities and strengthen their ability to build independent and productive futures. Increased school participation will contribute to stronger families and communities while helping create lasting educational opportunities for future generations in rural Peru.
